My name is Simon Mwakajumba, Managing Director of Herbivores Expeditions. I am Tanzanian, born and raised in southern part of Tanzania, Mbeya region. I have strong experience and excellent team of people who ready to work for you. As a Director my focus is on organizing tours with an ethical and professional approach to exceed tourist expectations. All our tours benefit the indigenous people. We utilize natural resources in a sustainable manner for the benefits of present and future generations. I had devoted my passion in Herbivores Expeditions managing for over 5 years. There is no greater joy and honor for me to ensure that my team spares no effort in providing you the utmost travel guide and the most impressed experiences for your amazing Tanzania trip.

Christian Cornely
Position: Cook
Is a food designer who will surprise you with wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. He has been in the tourism industry for 9 years. He has been with the Company for the past 4 years now. He is an experience and knowledgeable cook but also likes to learn new techniques every day.
Wilson Samwel
Position: Driver/ Guide
Is a native of Kilimanjaro region, who has received his secondary and college education in the same region. Studied environmental studies and obtained a degree. He is fair, patient, and willing to share ideas with others. He has 11 years’ experience as a tourist driver. He is a fan of little five.
Simon Boimanda
Position: Driver/ Guide
Boimanda has been working as tour guide for 13 years and comes from the service industry, where he worked as an assistant manager at a hotel. Here he discovered his love for people and tourism. Boimanda is qualified to tour in Tanzania and enjoys the Garden Route region very much. He is particularly passionate about the Culture tourism.
Josephat Albin
Position: Driver/ Guide
I am a native of Arusha region, Karatu district very close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the eastern Rift Valley. I received my wildlife education in my Arusha region. I have a long experience as a tourist driver and it has led me to learn Italian and Spanish.
As the driver guide of Herbivores Expeditions, identify needs of travellers and sense the trend of guiding tourists is what I am professional at. Years after worked in this field, I have witnessed Herbivores Expeditions growing up from its infancy to main one of the leading tourist company with numerous great reviews marked on Trip Advisor on which it is also highly recommended.
Haruna Mwaku
Position: Driver/ Guide
Haruna is an experienced tour guide who has been leading safaris and tours for Herbivores Expeditions for more than eight years. The depth of his knowledge on Tanzania is nothing short of astounding, as any client who has toured with Haruna will bear testimony to. He is registered as a national guide with the relevant authorities and is an expert in virtually all areas involving travel in Tanzania and Kenya.
Magreth Njau
