Rhino Lodge Ngorongoro

Rhino Lodge, situated only a few hundred metres from the crater’s rim, offers a perfect base to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and its surroundings.

With 24 comfortable ensuite rooms, a cozy living space, friendly local staff and delicious African-inspired meals, Rhino Lodge offers an affordable stay with panoramic views over the montane forest and distant Mount Oldeani. Ndutu Safari Lodge

The lodge gets its name from Lake Ndutu which is located close to the lodge. Situated in Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the edge of the Southern Serengeti plains, the lodge is in an ideal location for viewing wildlife. All the buildings are built from natural materials that blend in seamlessly with the natural environment. The lodge is characterised by stone and thatch en-suite cottages which have their own private verandas. Each room has an en- suite bathroom with hot showers, sink and flushing toilet. A main mess area, dining and bar area are at the heart of the lodge. A campfire adds a nice touch to the relaxing evenings.

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

This lodge is located on the highest point of the Ngorongoro crater rim, more than half a kilometre above the crater floor and offers breath taking views of the crater. The lodge is decorated and furnished in traditional African style and blends in well with the surroundings. The buildings are circular with conical roofs giving the inside an airy feel. Ngorongoro Sopa has a luxurious feel to it and is incredibly convenient in where it is situated. Wood carvings, sculptures and beautiful tapestry offer a traditional African feel to the lodge.

Tloma Lodge Karatu

Tloma is a small mountain lodge located in Ngorongoro. The lodge is unique in that it aims to evoke the atmosphere of colonial plantations and farms of the olden days. The lodge overlooks beautiful gardens and coffee plantations that surround the lodge. The main building includes a restaurant and large terrace with views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. All rooms come with their very own verandas.
